Contacts/Requesters: Departments

The Contacts/Requesters tab lists all contacts and requesters associated with the department. This page can be used to list both internal and external contacts.

ClosedField Descriptions

The following fields are displayed in the Contacts/Requesters List:

  • Name: The name of the contact or requester.

  • Job title: The job title of the contact, commonly displayed for employees.

  • Work / Mobile Phone: The work and/or mobile phone of the contact or requester, retrieved from the individual's record.

  • Repair Center: The repair center with which the individual is associated.

  • Primary?: A check mark to indicate if this individual is a primary contact or requester for this department. Multiple records can be designated as primary. Records flagged as primary will have a check mark icon in the column.

ClosedAdd a Requester/Contact

  1. Click Add.

    The Contact module lookup opens, allowing you to select one or more contacts.

  2. Locate the contact you want to add.

    The Type filter allows you to specify if you want to add a requester, employee, contractor, or external contact. The window defaults to contact.

  3. Click the contact you want to add.

    The contact will be listed in the My Selection(s) area at the bottom of the window.

  4. Continue selecting additional contacts as needed.

    To remove a record that has been added to the My Selection(s) area in error, click the blue arrow directly to the left of the row.

  5. Click Apply.

    The Contact module lookup closes, and the new contacts will be added to the Requester/Contacts List.

  6. Click Save.

     

ClosedModify a Requester/Contact

  1. Click the row you want to modify.

    The Contacts/Requesters window opens.

  2. Make your changes.

  3. Click Apply.

    The Contacts/Requesters page appears.

  4. Click Save.

     

ClosedRemove a Requester/Contact

  1. Click the check box to the left of the contact you want to remove.

    A check mark appears, indicating the record has been selected.

  2. Continue to select any additional contacts you want to remove.

  3. Click Remove.

    The contacts are removed.

  4. Click Save.
